Gladwin boys run eighth at rugged invitational

    BENZONIA

    Bigger schools posed big challenges for the Gladwin boys’ cross country team when the Flying G’s opened the season Saturday competing in the top division at Benzie Central’s Pete Moss Invitational.

    Traverse City West ran away with first place with 35 points, followed by Ann Arbor Pioneer with 85 and everyone else in the field of 13 was in triple digits.
