Gladwin Memorial Day events slated May 25

GLADWINThe Memorial Day Parade will assemble at 10 a.m. at the corner of East Cedar (M-61) and South State Street. The parade will march to the courthouse, leaving the assembly area at approximately 10:35 a.m.The program at the courthouse will begin at 11 a.m.

BEAVERTONE agle Ridge Church of God, located at 3987 S. M-18 in Beaverton, will have Community Supper every second Monday of the month from 5:30-7 p.m.This free catered meal will have live music. Everyone is invited, no RSVP needed, so bring a friend. No takeout is available.

I woke up from my nap in my “Comfy Chair” because my throw blanket was too hot! It was great yesterday, 32 degrees in the morning, but today, 70 degrees midafternoon, I was sweating. This is just one of the many things I call life’s little frustrations!
