Community Christian Choir to perform concert

GLADWINThe Community Christian Choir has been rehearsing for several weeks in preparation for their annual Southern Gospel concert. The choir will be at the Wagarville Community Church in Gladwin, on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 6 p.m.Several songs from the Gaither Homecoming videos will be featured.

A LOOK BACK IN TIME | CANN FAMILY WELL

Recently a historical article about flowing/artesian wells in the Gladwin area appeared in The Record. This photo of the Richard and Ida Cann family in Butman Township features one of those wells. Notice that they have pointed the spray upward instead of down into the barrel.

Lilly Edick receives multiple awards at Michigan State Fair
