This building complex still stands on the south side of Cedar between Townsend and Silverleaf streets. The roof has been completely reconstructed and it has been remodeled several times since then. This building replaced previous structures that had been destroyed by a fire that destroyed most of the commercial block in 1936. Another fire in 1947 prompted the first major remodeling of this building.
