GLADWINThe Gladwin Junior High Boys Track Team (GJHS) traveled to Meridian to compete in a conference meet on May 6. The boys did a great job overall! There were lots of personal bests and many individuals placing in the top 5.Connor Ward won the 70 meter dash with a time of 8.

SHEPHERD48-year-old Gladwin school record is history.ACaleb Palmreuter ran a 9:15 in the 3,200 meters at the Blue Jay Invitational at Shepherd Friday to smash a record that was set in 1976 by 20 seconds.

Kayla Newman’s bat was a weapon of mass destruction last Tuesday when the Beaverton softball team swept a high-scoring doubleheader from visiting Farwell.Newman went 9-for-9 in the two games, hitting for the cycle in the first and homering in both.
