GLADWINHome ice was the place to be for the Gladwin hockey team last week.The Flying G’s played three games in three days and lost two of them on the road, but Friday night’s 6-5 overtime victory over the visiting Lakeshore Badgers was a big one.

BEAVERTONThe gym was jumping Friday night and the opening act delivered when the Beaverton girls’ basketball team rolled to a 61-31 victory over Pinconning.“It’s always fun to play in front of bigger crowds and tonight was a good home crowd for Hall of Fame Night,” said Beavers coach Jason Hubble.
