Beaverton Bowling, improved and striving for a State Finals appearance

FARWELL Led by team captains Andrew Cooper and Jason Ash, the Beaverton Beavers boys bowling team have made it their goal to compete in the state finals this season. The Beavers have started well to accomplishing that goal with a victory against Clare over the weekend.

ITHACA The Flying G’s of Gladwin and the Cougars of Grand Rapids Catholic Central converged in Ithaca at the Ithaca Community Stadium on Saturday. The two football squads tussled in the snow for two hours, bidding for a trip to Ford Field and the Division 5 State Finals Championship game.

Beaverton recognizes accomplishments of the Gladwin’s 2022 football team

GLADWIN Beaverton City Administrator Kimberly Hines and Mayor Ray Nau visited Gladwin yesterday morning, gathering at the Gladwin High School with Gladwin Superintendent Rick Seebeck, Gladwin Athletic Director Lauren Wetmore, and Gladwin football coach Marc Jarstfer.
