BEAVERTON Beaverton boys basketball dropped their first loss of the season on Friday in the Beavers home opener against the Meridian Mustangs 25-44. The Mustangs throttled the Beavers in the first quarter, shutting them out with a 12-0 run.

Gladwin boys Basketball nearly upsets Meridian

GLADWIN The final seconds ticked away as Lucas Mead drove the lane through a sea of Meridian Mustang defenders. Coach Verellen, players on the sideline, and the audience held their breath as Mead collided full force with the Meridian players.

STORY BY JOSH CHRISTENSEN The Gladwin Cross-Country program is pleased to announce they will be erecting a top 20 board. This board will display the top twenty 5K performances run by our Flying G’s.

Beaverton boys Basketball starts season with two blowout victories

COLEMAN Beaverton boys basketball kicked their season off December 6, traveling to Coleman and returning home with a blowout victory 46-19. “We played aggressive defense and ran the offense okay,” coach Judy Johnston said after the game, feeling the team played well but seen room for improvement.
