GLADWIN Seven teams gathered around the paved track on the south end of the Gladwin Flying G’s for their annual Legends Track Meet on May 12. But none could match the star power of the Flying G’s as Gladwin conquered in both mens and womens competition. The Lady G’s took first place with 189.

GJHS boys and girls track place high in conference meet Thursday night

GLADWIN The Gladwin Junior High boys and girls track team competed Thursday night hosting a conference meet against Meridian, Harrison, Pinconning, and Ogemaw. The boys took first place finishing with 61.5 points, beating second place Meridian by three points.

BEAVERTON Beaverton hosted the Harrison Hornets last Wednesday night for a Jack Pine Conference Track and Field event. The Hornets defeated the Beavers in both men and female competition.
