GLADWIN COUNTY When the Gladwin boys’ cross country team finished fifth at the Division 2 state meet at Michigan International Speedway, it capped an outstanding season for all of the area’s harriers.

GLADWIN After running away with the Jack Pine Conference championship with a perfect 6-0 record, the Gladwin football team dominated the honor roll when the all-conference first team awards were passed out. Senior Jhace Massey was first team at running back and also at safety.

GLADWIN After rolling through the Northern Michigan Soccer League with a perfect 10-0 record to win the championship, Gladwin landed five players on the All-Conference Team. Leading the way was Treyton Siegert.

GLADWIN Asecond straight Michigan Association of Christian Schools Division II state championship eluded the Skeels soccer team on Nov. 3 when visiting Bridgeport Baptist Academy scored first and held on for a 2-1 semifinal victory.
