When the Gladwin boys’ cross country team finished fifth at the Division 2 state meet at Michigan International Speedway, it capped an outstanding season for all of the area’s harriers.
The Flying G’s won all three Jack Pine Conference jamborees on the way to the league title and also racked up a regional crown.
