Lady Beavers defeat Gladwin in Bowling, Boys bowling loses

to the semifinals match against Shepherd. The lady Beavers, however, fell to Shepherd, placing them into one final contest for the evening, a consultation match against Carson City. The Beavers defeated Carson City to place third for the event.

E ight Jack Pine conference schools converged at Northern Lanes in Sanford this past Saturday in a massive conference showdown. The Beaverton Beavers faced their nemesis, the Gladwin Flying G’s. The Beaverton girls team earned a victory over the Flying G’s 26-4; however, for the boys, luck was not on their side as they fell to the reigning State champions 27.5-2.5.
