Gladwin’s MJ McDonald runs away from a leaping Clare defender during Friday night’s 14-13 victory that left the Flying G’s alone atop the Jack Pine conference standings with a 3-0 record.
GLADWIN
In a battle of halves and halves not, the Gladwin football team rallied for an exciting 14-13 victory over visiting Clare Friday night.
The win, coupled with an Ogemaw Heights loss at Shepherd that night, left the Flying G’s alone atop the Jack Pine Conference standings with a perfect 3-0 record.
“Perfect” was hardly a word to describe the first half, unless maybe you were a Clare fan.
