BEAVERTON – It was no competition for the Beaverton softball team versus Houghton Lake on Tuesday, May 8, as Beaverton pulled off a pair of 15-0 and 17-0 mercy wins.
Beaverton collected 14 hits in game one with multiple hits coming from Ann-Marie Hicks (HR), Dallas Longstreth, and Myrissa Sherman.
Faith Howe earned the win on the mound striking out 8 in four innings and allowing a lone hit.
Howe collected another win in game two, striking out 5 in her two innings of work.
Myrissa Sherman made a quick trip to the mound and tossed a perfect third inning before Beaverton claimed the mercy win.
At the plate, Beaverton racked up another 15 hits with multiple hits coming off the bats of Hicks, Longstreth, Amaya Ware, and Taylor Inscho.
