Trent Reed got the win in the first game pitching five and a third innings and striking out 12. Cameron Mishler had three hits and three RBIs in the contest. Layk Woodruff had two hits and three RBIs. Carson Oldani, Brayde Keeley and Logan Love each had two hits.

The Beavers have now won eight straight games heading into the state playoffs. Their first game was a rematch with Farwell yesterday afternoon at Meridian High School in Sanford. A Beaverton win would have them playing the host team, Meridian High School, Saturday morning at 10 a.m. A win over the Mustangs would mean a trip to the district finals on Saturday afternoon against either Clare or Pinconning.
