Norm Doree
Norm Doree of Gladwin, MI, passed away peacefully on Dec. 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on Oct. 6, 1950 to Florence and Eugene Doree of Detroit, MI. Norm dedicated his life to his family and friends.
Norm proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971. Following his military service, Norm married Anna and they shared 47 years together. He spent 40 plus years at Vix Vending in Ferndale, MI. He was known for his dedication and commitment to others.
In his retirement he enjoyed spending time working on his classic cars and hunting in Gladwin.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; and his wife, Anna. He is survived by his son, Scott (Michelle) Doree; his grandchildren: Rachel Doree, Benjamin Doree, Trevor (Ryann) Omer, and Dawson Omer; brother, Bob (Nina) Doree; sister, Lucille (Leonard) Leshinsky; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In his final 13 months he was able to spend significant time with Diane Kludt, who he formed a new, loving relationship with.
His legacy of dedication and love will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Norm’s memory will be held Dec. 5, 11 a.m., at Christ The King Lutheran located at 600 M-18 in Gladwin, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army in his memory.
