In following with Myrtle “Tiny” Jaynes’ wishes, cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life Service will take place at the 4659 Filter Road, Harrison, MI, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1 p.m.
Tiny was born on June 21, 1947, in Royal Oak, daughter of King Edward and Marjorie Elizabeth (Clark) Jaynes. Jesus was her Lord and Savior and a major part of her life. Tiny raised five boys and loved being a mother. Tiny was a pool shark and enjoyed hustling a free beer from those that dared to play pool against her. Tiny also loved bingo and poker. When her eyesight was good, she had the patience to put puzzles together. She was a caregiver by heart, and loved taking care of her brother, Jim. She enjoyed working on her flower gardens and playing scratch offs. Tiny was always the life of the party. She loved being a grandmother and a special favorite aunt to her nieces: Kim, Donna, Marlo and Christina Elizabeth. Hosting tea parties with her granddaughters, the light of her life.
Tiny is survived by her four sons: Ray (Tina) Huntington II of Harrison, Ian (Brandy) Huntington of Painesville, Ohio; Keith (Dee) Anderson of Dothan, Alabama; and Edward Kenneth (Shilah Wiseman) Anderson of Harrison; grandchildren: Apryll, Zach, Zoey, Logan, Keith, Kailyn, Killian, Marlo, Kinslee, and Lilianna; great-grandchildren: Daisy Bartell, Wyatt Bartell, Brayden Powell, and Rome Huntington; siblings: Ed (Noreen) Jaynes, Harry Jaynes, Jim Jaynes, and Robbin Kirkey; and many nieces and nephews.
Tiny was preceded in death by son, Leiman James Huntington; granddaughter, Nicole Bartell; parents; brothers: John Jaynes and Fred Jaynes; brother-in-law, Gary Kirkey; sister-in-law, Karen Jaynes; and nephews: Gary and Danny Jaynes.
