Michael George Pigion

Michael George Pigion, age 71, of Beaverton, MI, passed away on November 30, 2023, at his winter home in Moore Haven, FL. He was born on June 8, 1952, in Detroit, MI to the late George and Vonna (Burns) Pigion.

After graduating from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, MI, Michael worked at Ford Motor Co., retiring after thirty years. He also served in the United States Army from 1972-1974, Panama Canal Zone, 10th INF.

Michael enjoyed most of his retirement living on Wixom Lake in Beaverton.

He enjoyed boating, golfing, and watching sports. He was also a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Bethany; son, Michael (Mariah DeNooijer) Pigion of Bellville, MI; stepdaughter, Jennifer Allen of Holland, MI; grandchildren: Preston and Whitney of Holland, MI; sisters: Patricia (Gary) Wamsley of Brooklyn, MI, Susan (Allen) Dawson of South Lyon, MI, and Deborah (Reeves) Smith of Bath, NC; along with many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Vonna.

A memorial service will take place at Fraternal Order of Eagles in Albright Shores, MI on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1-3 p.m.
