In loving memory of Mary Ann Jenks, age 84, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1939 to the late Charles and Carrie (Druley) Shears in Gladwin, Michigan. Mary Ann married Alvin Jenks, he preceded her in death on November 10, 2018.
She loved singing at the Church, crocheting, bowling, going to the casino, and being active in her community. Most of her favorite times were being with children, but not limited to nieces, nephews, family members. She was always known for being very giving, loving, and caring. Always trying to pull a fast one on anyone, but the first person to lend an ear or a hand. Most importantly she was an Earth angel and will be loved and dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her loving family, daughter Carrie Ann Jenks, granddaughter’s; Cheyanne Rayne Greer, Pamela Inez Garza, great granddaughter Jaiden Garza, son Edward Jenks, niece Paula Blackburn, sister’s Ruth (Steve) Hair, Margaret Dings, and brother William Shears. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis Shears, Albert Shears, John Shears, Joseph Shears, and Sam Shears.
Per Mary Ann’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
