Born on August 27, 1947, Judy McCutcheon’s journey on this Earth came to a peaceful end on October 29, 2023, as she was surrounded by her beloved family in Brooksville, Florida. Judy was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. Her life was one filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.

On August 2, 1980, Judy embarked on a beautiful journey of love and commitment, marrying Bob McCutcheon. Together, they shared 43 wonderful years, making countless memories and facing life’s challenges hand in hand. Judy was not only a loving wife but also a devoted mother to her two daughters, Kim (Pat) Savage and Karen (Mike) Moore, both from Beaverton, as well as a loving stepmother to Jeff (Jen) McCutcheon from Midland and Eric (Heather) McCutcheon from Colorado.

Family was at the heart of Judy’s world, and she found immense joy in being a grandmother to Angela (Tyler) McLaren, Melissa (Jon) Baker, Edison McCutcheon, and Echo McCutcheon. As the family continued to grow, Judy embraced the role of great-grandmother with open arms, showering her affection on Lily, Caroline, Logan, and Connor.

Judy’s warm and generous spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. She was known for her genuine love of people and a kindhearted nature that drew friends to her like a magnet. Judy’s warm smile and compassionate nature made her a true friend to many, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Judy’s life was defined not only by the love she shared but also by her passion for giving back to her community. She had a special fondness for volunteering, with a particular focus on children’s programs. Her dedication to making the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time, left an indelible mark on those she served.

One of Judy’s favorite places on Earth was her family’s home on Wixom Lake, where she found solace and joy in the company of loved ones. It was here that she created countless memories and reveled in the beauty of nature. It was also the place she had the privilege of sharing her life with Bob for 30 wonderful years.

In honor of Judy’s remarkable life, a celebration of her life is planned for May 11, 2024, at the home she cherished on Wixom Lake. This gathering will serve as a tribute to a life well-lived, a heart full of love, and the countless lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Judy McCutcheon, we remember her as a beacon of love, kindness, and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
