Joyce C. Fullford

Joyce C. Fullford, age 80, of Gladwin, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015 at Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Cordova Mines, Ontario to the late Edward and Luella (Varty) Kraner.

She married Thomas Fullford on April 6, 1963 in Gladwin; he preceded her in death on October 1999. Joyce was a Past National President of the Blue Star Mothers, member of the Gladwin Eagles and a The American Legion Post 171 Auxiliary. She was awarded twice the Point of Light Award from President Bush for her volunteer support of the Veteran Organizations. She enjoyed traveling to different States and being on the go with her family.

She will be remembered by her family and friends as a generous, supportive and loving friend. She is survived by her children James and Heather Grant, Michael Grant, Melody and James Derbin, Shannon Fullford and Thomas and Lisa Fullford; eight grandchildren James and Carrie Grant, Burt and Daniele Grant, Daniel and Sarah Grant and Michelle and Thomas Dugger; Four great-grandchildren and a sister Janet and Emery Sansturm. She was preceded in death by three sisters Betty St. Martin, Edna Hart and Sharon Kraner and brother Jack Kraner.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 11 a.m. from Sisson Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Severance presiding with burial in Highland Cemetery. Family will greet friends and family from 9 a.m., Saturday until time of services.
