Jessica Lee Shanahan-Galley
Jessica Lee Shanahan-Galley, age 43, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. She was born on February 10, 1981, in Bay City, MI, to David and Lisa (Cipolletti) Dailey.
Jessica graduated from Ogemaw High School and continued her education at Mid Michigan College, where she earned her nursing degree with honors. Throughout her career, Jessica worked at a nursing facility for geriatrics in South Carolina and at MyMichigan Health in both Midland and Gladwin, MI. On June 16, 2017, she married Miguel Galley and together they shared seven years of love and cherished memories.
Jessica had many passions. She loved searching for sea glass and rocks, antique shopping, restoring items, crocheting, and farm life. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, taking road trips, exploring nature, picking wild fruits with her daughters, hay day, and singing during car rides.
She is survived by her husband, Miguel; her children: Emma, Erica, and Aubrey Shanahan; her stepchildren: Rachel and her husband, Levi, Rees and Thomas Galley; her parents: David and Lisa Dailey; her sister, Jaclyn and her husband, John, Waite; and niece and nephew: Ava Waite and Zayne Waite.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
