Gail A. McKinley, age 67, of Beaverton, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1958, the daughter of Elmer and Ida (Myers) Ruwe, in St. Louis, MO. Gail was dedicated to her work as a Parapro at Beaverton Schools for 15 years.
Gail loved watching sports and was a proud Detroit Lions and Tigers fan, along with the St. Louis Cardinals. Gail loved the Holiday Season, getting to decorate and spend time with family was so special to her. She loved fishing and was very family oriented. Most of all, Gail cherished time spent with her friends and family, especially with her grandchildren, showing up for them always. She never missed a sporting event.
She is survived by her children: Jessica (Jon) Atkinson, Kristina (Randy) McDonald, and Ashley (Bryce) Paulsen; grandchildren: Landon, Liberty, Jayvin, Jordan and Mason; siblings: Mike (Christine) Ruwe, Grace Ruwe-Whitnah, Dave (Linda) Elliot; special friends: Ann (Jim) Brooks and Britt (Theresa) Atkinson; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ida; grandchild, Harlynn Paulsen; and sister, Georgia Oliver.
