Edward J. Logsdon Sr.

Edward J. Logsdon Sr., age 82, of Gladwin, passed away on Jan. 2, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1943, the son of John and Dorothy Mae (Shelton) Logsdon in Lasalle County, IL.

Ed was a loving husband, father, grandpa and “poppa”. He was a good and caring man. He enjoyed NASCAR, golf, and country music. In his younger days, he was a scout master to several young men and instilled in them a love of the outdoors and camping.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; children: Ed Jr., Patrick (Michelle), Greg (Nancy), Annette, Jaci, Jennifer Baldy, Chad (Glenna); step-sons: Jason (Jen) and Kirk Zajac; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren; along with several greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his sons: Wes, Jeff and Mike; grandson, Jacob; parents, John and Dorothy Mae; sister, Dorothy Greene; brother, John Martin and four great grandchildren.

Ed will be deeply missed.
