Diane G. Anderson
Diane G. Anderson, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on June 23, 2026, at the age of 83.
Born on May 20, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, Diane lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a love for her community. She made her home in Gladwin, where she became well known through her successful career in real estate. Diane proudly owned and operated Real Estate One of Gladwin from 1980 to 2020.
Diane enjoyed tending to her gardens, swimming, watching the loons on Pratt Lake, enjoying German foods, and opening her home to family and friends for gatherings filled with cherished memories. In her younger years, she especially enjoyed horseback riding, a passion she shared with many family members and took great joy in teaching others. Diane was also a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin for many years.
She is survived by her sons: Gus Anderson of Gladwin, Michigan; and Gregg (Alexis) Anderson of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; her granddaughters: Nicole Anderson, Dana Anderson, and Lauren Anderson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Olga Brown and Rolland Brown; her sisters: Eileen (James) Hibden, Dorothy (Wesley) Cochell, and Shirley (Charles) Ensley; and her brother, Gerald Brown.
Diane will be remembered for her strong work ethic, generous hospitality, unwavering love for her family, and the friendships she cultivated throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
A private memorial gathering will be announced to family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Hospice of Gladwin Area in Diane’s memory.
