Darryl Lee Saeger

Darryl Lee Saeger passed away peacefully at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland on December 16, 2024, surrounded by his two sons: Daniel Saeger and Bobby Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Saeger and Dora Saeger, of Pontiac; his brother, Harry Saeger of Troy; his sister, Helen Crook of Midland; his brother, Douglas Saeger of Wisconsin; and his sister, Lucile Art of Beaverton Michigan. He loved his kids and grandkids very much. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and baseball, was a diehard Detroit Tigers fan, and enjoyed being around people. He was a people person.

He is survived by his son, Danny Saeger (fiancé Nicole Schwartz) of Flint; and his son, Bobby Thomas (Katrina Jacques) of Beaverton Michigan; sister’s: Darlene (Lee) Hayward, Wanneta (Tom) Whetstone; brother, Alan Saeger; and many nieces and nephews. He loved volunteering at the Gladwin Pines Nursing Home in Gladwin, doing bingo and singing karaoke.

A memorial will be held at a later date.

Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home of Gladwin has been entrusted with arrangements.
