Except for his years as a student at Central Michigan University, Gladwin resident Ed Falls has spent his adult years volunteering in community bands and orchestras. In fact, at one point he belonged to three groups at one time. Eventually, though, his full-time work as a school music teacher and having an active family to tend, reduced that number to two.
