Randall D. Morse

Randall D. Morse, age 76, of Beaverton, Michigan, passed away on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on Sept. 14, 1949, in Midland, Michigan to Stanley and Clara (Tohm) Morse.

He spent his childhood in Beaverton, growing up alongside his three brothers and two sisters: Bob, Ron, Terry, Janene, and Sandy (his twin sister). He joined the Michigan National Guard in 1968. He married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Clingan, on Oct. 4, 1969. They were blessed with two sons: Johnathan Walter and Brent Randall.

Randy was a heavy equipment mechanic and was employed at the Midland Armory. He achieved the rank of Warrant Officer 3 and was supervisor at the maintenance shop at the armory for over 20 years.

He retired in 2003, after 34 years.

He enjoyed trout fishing with his brothers and nephew, Mike. He loved deer hunting, rabbit hunting, and spending time on the lake with his boys. He even had a safety meeting for work in the boat on the lake.

He passed on his love of fishing to his sons and nephews. He coached little league and could always be found on the sidelines when the boys were playing football.

He was preceded in death by his infant sons: Christopher Michael and Matthew Allen; parents, Stanley and Clara; brothers: Ron and Bob; sister, Janene Young.

Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, 1 p.m., at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton.
