Aclose loss paved the way to a lopsided win last week when the Gladwin soccer team split a pair of Jack Pine Conference games.

On Monday, the Flying G’s hung tough in a 3-1 loss to visiting Ogemaw Heights, a team that finished 8-2 in the JPC last year and brought back an experienced crew.
