Last Tuesday was Election Day with primaries setting the table for a number of key races in November’s general election.
At the top of the ballot, Democrat Jocelyn Benson received 1,243,543 votes statewide to win the nomination from Chris Swanson with 251,345. That race was closer in Gladwin County, with Benson winning 1,5661,066.
