BEAVERTON
Way back in April, the Beaverton baseball team lost both ends of a doubleheader to Meridian.
Both games were close, as befitting the rivalry between the two schools, with the Mustangs taking the opener 4-2 and then winning the nightcap 2-1 in just four innings of action due to conditions.
The two teams met again Friday with a Division 3 district championship on the line.
