Coleman Memorial Day Parade

COLEMAN – Coleman Community is pleased to announce plans are underway to honor our community’s Veterans on Monday, May 28.

Coleman’s VFW Post will be hosting a pancake breakfast beginning at 7 a.m., serving until 10 a.m. at the Coleman VFW hall located on Railway Street. The parade will then be held at 10 a.m. 

The parade will begin lining up at the Greater Midland Coleman Family Center located at 911 East Railway at 9 a.m. (enter staging area from Saginaw Road).

The parade will travel down Washington, across Marsh to Adams, then to Sixth Street on to Main and will disembark at the Veterans Memorial site.

A special invitation is also extended to our community’s children to decorate their bicycles and ride in this year’s parade.

Immediately following the parade, memorial services will be held at the Veteran’s Memorial site located on Railway Street conducted by our Coleman veterans.

The parade committee invites the community and surrounding areas to help us pay special tribute to those who have united us through their sacrifice.
