To the Editor: The family of Tim Rowley would like to thank everyone who showed expressions of love and kindness during our brother’s passing. Thank you to those who supported us by attending the visitation and funeral of Tim.

To the Editor: In a world that seems to be getting less kind by the day, Gladwin County continues to overflow with kindness. So many caring people from Gladwin, Beaverton, Rhodes, Alger – and all the little villages and communities that make up Gladwin County – have rallied together to get Christmas Kindness through its final push to Distribution Day on Saturday.

To the Editor: A couple of weeks ago, the Gladwin County Democratic Party Chairman labeled Trump as someone using, “strongman fascist language”. This shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Here we are in our new office, with presses, type and other printing material, at Cedar, the county seat of Gladwin, where, henceforth, providence permitting, this paper will be published regularly once a week. As you are undoubtedly aware, this is a very new and thinly settled section in which to establish a newspaper, and that the same can be maintained only by economy, industry, good management, and undivided support of the people of Gladwin County.
