GLADWIN – The Knights of Columbus Gladwin Council 5280 has been donating their hall and working with the staff at the Central Michigan Health Department’s (CMDHD) vaccine clinics.
This partnership is allowing further access for Gladwin County residents to get their COVID-19 vaccine shots. Eligible recipients may book their appointment on the CMHD website at cmdhd.org or call 2-1-1 to make their appointment now. To see if you are eligible for a vaccine shot, visit cmdhd.org.
The CMDHD has also been promoting COVID-19 Vaccine Town Halls, virtual town hall meetings that are held via Facebook Live by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). These monthly meetings offer residents an opportunity to hear about the safety, efficacy and importance of the COVID-19 vaccine for opening the state back up.
The next town hall will be on Thursday, March 25, 4-5 p.m. Visit the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Facebook page during the event to join in. For the most up-to-date information on eligibility and the COVID-19 vaccines, visit michigan.gov/covidvaccine.
