GLADWIN COUNTY – The Gladwin County Clerk issued a press release on Monday, May 25 on an established Volunteer Reception Center as well as flood debris removal.
Volunteer Reception Center
Gladwin County Emergency Management has developed a location to register as a volunteer to aid the flood victims of May 18. This location will be open to receive volunteers beginning Tuesday, May 26. Office hours will be 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The location will be at Billings Township Hall, 1050 Estey Road Beaverton, 989-435-8430 Ext. 4.
Flood Debris Pickup/Removal
All items are to placed curbside in front of your residence or business.
You must seperate any items that contain refrigerant from all other materials.
Mark all furniture and appliances with a large red “X” or the word “FLOOD” before setting out to your curbside. This will warn residents of potentially harmful materials and that they should not attempt to re-use in their home or sell. Photos and video must be taken of all debris set out for removal by the waste care provider.
