An overnight thunderstorm produced a lightning strike that disabled the City of Gladwin’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
As of Tuesday morning, residents were asked to refrain from using bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, showers and other plumbing fixtures due to the fact that wastewater use could result in sewage backups.
