GLADWIN COUNTY – 4-H is a family-friendly program open to youth ages 5-19 as of January 2020, and provides educational programs to help young people reach their full potential. Through Gladwin County 4-H programming, screened adult volunteers teach young people specific skills related to a wide variety of subjects through hands-on, experiential learning.
Youth develop leadership and citizenship skills by participating in our organized 4-H clubs or programs! Gladwin County 4-H offers projects in several categories: Healthy Living, STEM, Leadership & Citizenship, Arts, Animals, Archery, Literacy, and so much more.
In 2013, a Tufts University study showed that 4-H members are four times more likely to contribute to their communities; two times more likely to make healthier choices; two times more likely to be civically active; and two times more likely to participate in extracurricular STEM programs.
