GLADWIN COUNTY – The Gladwin County Democratic Party’s (GCDP) monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 28, in Pavilion A at Ross Lake Park in Beaverton. A social hour with cold drinks and cookies provided starts at 5 p.m. with the business meeting starting at 6 p.m. The park is on M-18 just before you cross the bridge into downtown Beaverton.
This is the only in-person meeting planned. Previous meetings have been held on Zoom due to the pandemic restrictions and are expected to return to that format in August. Masks must be covering your nose and mouth and we encourage spacing six feet apart both when seated and standing in groups to chat.
Our election headquarters is located in Beaverton on the left as you cross the bridge from the north at the corner of Porter St. and M-18 and will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays. It will also be open during the social hour July 28 from 5-5:45 p.m.
Be sure to stop by the office to pick up Joe Biden 2020 signs and others for local candidates. Gary Peters for Senate signs should be in soon. Many of our candidates will be in attendance on the evening of July 28.
The Gladwin County Democratic Party would like to tell those who cannot attend on July 28 to please remember to vote in the Primary Election on Tues., August 4. They also wish to say that if you haven’t already mailed your ballot, also remember to vote the non-partisan section on the other side of the ballot.
