Dressed in period costume, Nancy Bodnar rang a bell promptly at 6 p.m. and proclaimed, “Hear ye, hear ye,” to bring authenticity to a ceremonial reading of the Declaration of Independence last Wednesday on the steps of the Gladwin County Courthouse.
