County commission appoints Michael Visnaw to the board
The Gladwin County Board of Commissioners met on Friday, Jan. 27 to consider candidates for the open District 1 seat on the commission.
Chairperson Karen Moore stated that she had recently received a letter from Michael Visnaw demonstrating his interest in the position. Visnaw was an opponent to the elected Mark Schaefer in the 2022 Primary Election. He lost to Schaefer by only 48 votes.
