This past weekend was a busy time at Ross Lake Park in Beaverton. As temperatures rose into the 90s, people were quick to hop into Ross Lake to cool off or to enjoy the splash park. Many of the park goers took a trip across the street to the newly established A & W for an ice cream treat as well.
For those who didn’t, Beaverton Police Officer, Steve Cingano was there to help. Officer Cingano bought ice cream for many of the park’s visitors on Saturday, June 5. He was seen passing out ice cream to children around the park during the day’s peak heat. It isn’t rare to find the officers of Beaverton or Gladwin County going out of their way to help their community, it’s even better when there’s a treat.
