After six years with Beaverton Rural Schools, Superintendent Susan Wooden announced her retirement at the Monday, June 10 Board of Education meeting. In a letter addressed to Board of Education President Adam Zdrojewski, Wooden states that her last day in the office will be end-of-business day, Friday, June 21, 2019.
“Thank you for the privilege of serving as Superintendent of Schools for the past six years. Together, with our students, staff, and community, we have accomplished many lasting improvements for all students,” the letter states, going on to list the many accomplishments that Beaverton Rural Schools have achieved in the past several years.
