GLADWIN

The Gladwin Area Artist Guild is lucky to have its very talented acrylic artist Cora Hartman instructing this year’s annual paint workshop on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 6-9 p.m. at Columbus Hall in Gladwin.

Hartman, who is from Standish, designed a landscape painting that works for beginning artists and those with more advanced skills because it allows room for painterly embellishments.

This popular workshop is limited in size and fills to capacity every year.

Formerly called Art and Chocolate and timed to offer “hunters’ widows” a bit of fun, the event now features a more diverse, but still extensive buffet. The entertainment value will appeal to anyone interested in having a no-pressure, good time among friends while painting.

Go to the Gladwin Area Artist Guild Facebook page to download your registration form or contact the guild at GladwinArtist-Guild@gmail.com to request a form be sent to you via email. If you are unable to print, request the form be mailed to you.

If you have questions prior to registering, use the same email address to get answers from event chair Jan Berg-Rezmer. Do it today because this is a creative opportunity you won’t want to miss!
