R&S Designs is a business serving Mid-Michigan with the use of a 3D printer to make school themed products with a portion of the proceeds benefiting a local church. The business is owned by two fifth graders of Meridian Junior High, Pierson Roebuck and Tucker Schriner.

GLADWIN There is currently a Stuff the Bus event going on now through August 14. The event is being put on by Auxilio Services to benefit students in Gladwin Community Schools who need supplies for the upcoming school year. Anyone can come to the Stuff the Bus event, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.

The Saucecats, a group of seasoned musicians seeking to play fun, energetic music for all occasions, large or small, are coming to Thursdays in the City on August 10. This free concert will be at the Riverwalk Back Yard, 777 W. Cedar Avenue in Gladwin from 7-9 p.m.

Women’s Interfaith Christian Fellowship seeks host church

It has been several years since area women of all faiths have met for a special time of Christian fellowship. The host church will plan a program, including a speaker of their choice, and send notifications to area churches. Women will be asked to bring a salad for a group of 4-5 people.
