Applications for Bailey Fund Scholarships now being accepted

MIDLAND Applications to the Bernard F. and Melissa Anne Bailey Family Fund Health Care Scholarship program at MyMichigan Health are now available for the 2024-2025 school year. Students may access the application online at www.mymichigan. org/bailey.
The cancer program at MyMichigan is accredited with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, is a recipient of the Accreditation for Program Excellence (APEx) from the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, and its Breast Health Program in Midland is accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons.

GLADWIN COUNTY On Saturday, December 16, in the parking lot of Christ the King Lutheran Church, there was another Gladwin/Beaverton Community Food Distribution (GBCFD). Almost 23,000 pounds of food from the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan was passed out to 260 households, serving 781 individuals.

GLADWIN The Gladwin Area Friends of the Theater (GAFT) will be holding auditions for their winter comedy “Who Killed the King of Bling.” The auditions will take place on January 9 through January 11 from 6-8 p.m. at GAFT’s new location, 525 E. Cedar Ave., next to Family Dollar.
