Kailee Mason (Doak) of Gladwin graduated December 16, 2023, from Saint Louis University with a Master of Public Health in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness. Concurrently, she became Certified in Public Health (CPH) per the National Board of Public Health Examiners after passing the CPH exam.

To a pottery collector, a “mocha mug” isn’t meant for a coffee drink. “Mocha” is a type of decorated earthenware pottery made in England and sold in America in the early 1800s. Mocha pottery, or mocha ware, is usually utilitarian; pieces were originally used in the kitchen or during meals.

I think all of us at one time or another have considered the idea of becoming a minister, priest, nun, or lay minister in our church. I know that I considered it as did many of my family members and friends. We held all people in great esteem who had a religious vocation.
