Free Supper Club event slated

There will be a free Supper Club event on Tuesday, May 28 at the Beaverton Activity Center, 106 Tonkin St.. The event will start at 6 p.m.; registration for the event is at 5:45 p.m. The menu will be Patriotic Picnic themed and a speaker and health topic discussed.

Free gun locks now available at MDHHS

The Michigan State Police (MSP) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) are partnering together to offer free gun locks to the public at MDHHS county offices and some local health departments in an effort to protect children from unintentional firearm injuries.

GLADWINCongratulations to team dancers at the Gail Wildfong School of Dance for their success at Encore Dance Competition of the Stars in Howell in March. Multiple dances were entered in both the recreational and competitive divisions and each dance received either platinum or diamond adjudications.
