Free Second Saturday Supper

GLADWINAfree Second Saturday Supper will be held on Saturday, May 11, at the New Beginnings Methodist Church, located at 309 S.M-18, Gladwin, across from Loose Motor Sales. Look for the three large crosses at the entrance. This will be a takeout only meal.

GJHS Boys’ Track compete in Ithaca

GLADWINThe Gladwin Junior High Boys Track Team traveled to Ithaca on May 2 to participate in their relays meet where each race and event was a relay. The boys did quite well. Lots of new personal best split times in races and several new bests in the field events as well.

GHS Plant Sale upcoming

GLADWINGladwin High School (GHS) science teacher Mr. Donahue and his students are hard at work preparing for this year’s annual Plant Sale.The sale will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m. The profits raised from the sale are the only funding source for the school’s greenhouse.

Health center now providing care to students in Coleman

CoA celebrates March for Meals Month and thanks community champions for their participation

This year Meals on Wheels of America launched the #SaveLunch campaign before the annual March for Meals program. #SaveLunch focused on communicating the need to address senior hunger and continue funding at the state and federal level.
