Hospice of Gladwin Area celebrates Great Cedar River Duck Race

GLADWINOnce again, Hospice of Gladwin Area will be hosting its annual fundraiser, The “Great Cedar River Duck Race,” on July 13, 2024, in the Cedar River at Riverwalk Place at 12:30 p.m.Kids activities will run from 9-3 p.m. and The race will begin at 12:30 p.m.

United Way honored with Mountain Mover award

GLADWINUnited Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties won the Mountain Mover award from the Northern Michigan Alliance for Children. This is a philanthropic award that signifies financial commitment that greatly supports programs and the mission of Northern Michigan Alliance for Children.

Summer Art Kids Camp Aug. 5-9

 Gladwin Artist’s Guild is excited to once again offer a weeklong art camp for kids ages 6-11 at the Gladwin County District Library.Kids will become “Art Explorers” and enjoy creating all sorts of fun projects. From painting to clay and from making bugs to monster pencil toppers.
