Local scholar-athletes named All-State

Gladwin cross country A number of local scholar-athletes earned Academic All-State honors during the Fall 2024 season. The Gladwin boys’ cross country team was honored as a team, while Elijah Christensen, Seth Mead, Ben Verellen and Myles Robinson earned Academic All-State as individuals.

Division champ Beavers top JPC volleyball honor squad

Annual Gladwin County Winter Carnival slated

GLADWINThe third annual Gladwin County Winter Carnival will take place on January 17, 2025 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 751 M-18, from 3-6 p.m.The event includes free hats, gloves, and scarves.There will also be a storytime by the Gladwin County District Library from 3:30-3:45 p.m.

Gladwin All-State honorees lead JPC grid honor roll

GLADWINSenior wide receiver Trace Corlew and junior linebacker Preston Willert earned First Team All-State honors in Division 5 after helping Gladwin advance to the third round of the playoffs this past fall.
